Is Climate Change Real?

According to the United Nations, climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns of the world.

Global warming is often used refer to climate change, since it is one of the most important causes of global changes. It is basically the increase in average global temperatures, often associated to significant impacts by humans, wildlife, and ecosystems around the world. Due to more factors and effects besides the rising global temperatures, the term climate change is used to include these additional effects. The biggest percentage of sciences believe that human influence has been the major cause of observed warming trends in years.

The Paris Agreement was set in 2015 with a goal to limit global warming to well below 2, preferably to 1.5 degrees Celsius, compared to pre-industrial levels.

To achieve this long-term temperature goal, countries aim to reach global peaking of greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible to achieve a climate neutral world by mid-century.
